This pilgrimage started out freezing in Petra and continued on to Jerusalem where I visited the magnificent Dome of the Rock and Al-Aqsa Mosque. Strong winds were inevitable, but the clear blue sky was the winner. The trip was perfected by a visit to the Prophet’s Mosque in the lively city of Medina and then, of course, the breathtaking Ka’bah in Mecca. It's amazing how the technology advances so quickly, it's not yet there but the slow-motion functionality of the new iPhone is impressive. I reduced the video by 50% and created a colour and b&w version (iMovie App on the iPhone itself) and used split screen to place them together (Premiere Pro) and upscaled from 720P to 1080P.
