San Francisco architecture takes center stage in this 5 minute "Hop On - Hop Off" look at the city that the late journalist Herb Caen referred to as "Baghdad-by-the-Bay." The images were inspired by the opening title sequence of Alfred Hitchcock's spy thriller, "North by Northwest" (1959) and by architect Richard Peter Loarie (my big brother) who taught me how to see and use a camera decades ago. These images capture a Dale Chihuly exhibit at the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix, Arizona. This garden is a premiere attraction of the Phoenix area, and the installation of Chihuly glass pieces among the desert plants was simply stunning.
