This is a compilation of shots i made on my vacations. I travelled a lot to another countries, but there is nothing like home. I really love the beauty of the Portuguese coast, it is astonishing. This is a piece about Umbria, a region south of Tuscany in Italy, where everything revolves around the "Lago Trasimeno", a lake called the green diamond. This film was shot in two weeks (Dec '13) on the Hawaiian islands of Oahu and Maui. Many of the timelapses were taken on Haleakalā (House of the Sun), which is a 10,000ft tall dormant volcano. The volcano is a timelapse photographers dream; the climate is in constant flux and the landscape is absolutely breathtaking. After much work over months of planting, nursing, weeding and pruning the final stage is filmed.
